Two men were detained for questioning after police were informed that a fan inside a madrassa(Seminary) allegedly carried a “Made in Pakistan” label, officials said.

The matter drew attention after a picture of the fan was widely shared on social media, leading to calls for a detailed investigation. According to officials, the two men called for questioning included the manager of the madrassa. Police launched an inquiry after the image circulated online and some people demanded a thorough probe into the matter.

Vishunpura Station House Officer Vinay Mishra said police examined all angles carefully. During the inquiry, police found that the fan had been purchased from Saudi Arabia. The concerned persons also produced documents related to the purchase before the authorities.

After verifying the documents and conducting a detailed inquiry, police found nothing suspicious. Officials said both detained persons were later released. The inquiry concluded that there was no basis for further action after the purchase details were confirmed.
