First anniversary of Marka-e-Haq celebrated across various areas of South Waziristan to honor the bravery of armed forces and the sacrifices of martyrs of operation Bunyan al-Marsous.
According to organisers, a series of ceremonies, school events and patriotic programmes were arranged in different educational institutions across the district.
National songs were performed during the events, while students participated with enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
A large number of children, tribal elders and local residents attended the celebrations, carrying national flags and banners. The atmosphere echoed with slogans of Pakistan Zindabad and Pak Army Zindabad.
Participants paid tribute to the bravery of the armed forces, the sacrifices of martyrs and the nation’s resolve to defend the country.
Speakers at the events said the celebrations reflected national unity, patriotism and the strong bond between the people and the armed forces of Pakistan.
