LAHORE: In the closing ceremony of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), a number of outstanding performances were noted as a result of which various players and officials won different prizes and honours.

Irfan Hardy won the Player of the Final Award because of his excellent overall performance and help in securing victory for his team.

Babar Azam also made a great contribution in the PSL where he earned the Hanif Mohammad Cap because of the best individual performance of the whole tournament with 588 runs scored.

Another notable success is Sufyan Maqeem who was awarded the Player of the Tournament and Fazal Mahmood Caps for his performance as he secured 22 wickets in total.

Moreover, Babar Azam became the Beater of the Tournament and Sufyan Maqeem, the Bowler of the Tournament for their respective roles played in the games. Also, Farhan Yusuf was honored with the title of the Best Fielder of the Tournament.

The Best All-Rounder trophy went to Shadab Khan, who proved himself as a good all-rounder in the tournament with his batting and bowling.

The Best Wicket Keeper was awarded to Kusal Mendis for his outstanding performance as a wicket keeper.

Hanif Shah, a fast bowler, was awarded as the Emerging Player of the Tournament for his fast bowling and wicket-taking.

Asif Yaqub bagged the Best Umpire Trophy due to his excellent umpiring throughout the tournament.

Lastly, the Hyderabad Kings were awarded the Spirit of Cricket Award because of their outstanding cricket spirit.

It is also to be noted that medals were given to the match officials at the award ceremony.

Peshawar Zalmi become PSL 11 champions after crushing Kingsmen

Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi has defeated Hyderabad Kingsmen in the final match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 11 in a thrilling match played at Qadafi Stadium in Lahore.

Peshawar Zalmi clinched the championship title for the second time by defeating the Hyderabad Kingsmen by 5 wickets. In the final match, Peshawar Zalmi showcased an impressive performance, successfully achieving the target and concluding the tournament with a victory.

In the history of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Islamabad United has secured the title three times, in the years 2016, 2018, and 2024. Lahore Qalandars have also established a strong presence by winning the trophy in 2022, 2023, and 2025.

With this latest win, Peshawar Zalmi has now claimed the title twice, while Quetta Gladiators, Multan Sultans, and Karachi Kings have each become champions once.
