Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqai has announced that the U.S. response to Iran’s 14-point proposals has been communicated to Tehran through Pakistan and is currently under review.

According to Baqai, the 14-point plan proposed by Iran is entirely focused on ending the war and does not address the nuclear issue. He stated that the goal of the plan is to reduce ongoing tensions in the region and to pave the way for an immediate ceasefire. Baqai clarified that Iran will provide its formal response after thorough consideration.

In response to another inquiry, Baqai dismissed reports about Iran and the U.S. jointly clearing mines in the Strait of Hormuz, labelling such claims as fictional stories propagated by some media outlets.
