The claims made by an account called “Global Trends Magazine (GTM)” on social media regarding a “global exclusive interview” between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir have been declared completely false and misleading.
According to the initial analysis of the authorities and open source Intelligence (OSINT) no such interview has been given by the Prime Minister or Asim Munir, nor has any such program been scheduled or approved.
The reputation of the said magazine (GTM) is highly questionable. The number of followers of this account is only 99 while there is no review or verified data on it, which is mandatory for any international organization. This move appears to be an attempt to gain cheap fame and possibly fraud by misusing the names of state leadership.
The public is requested to refrain from spreading such misleading information. “Global Trends Magazine” has been marked as an unreliable and fake news spreading platform for the future as well.
