A significant decline has been recorded in the prices of gold and silver in the global and local gold markets. The price of gold per ounce in the international market fell by $49 to $4788.
A decline in gold prices was also seen at the local level, however, despite this, gold per tola remains above Rs 500,000. 24-carat gold per tola fell by Rs 4,900 to Rs 501,162, while the price of ten grams of gold fell by Rs 4,201 to Rs 429,665.
Similarly, a decrease of Rs 145 was recorded in the price of silver per tola, after which the new price became Rs 8,417.
