US President Donald Trump has praised Pakistan’s leadership in a statement on the social media platform Truth Social.

In his message, President Trump thanked Pakistan, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, calling them “two wonderful individuals.”

Trump described today as a “great and wonderful day for the entire world.”

Earlier, US President Donald Trump welcomed Iran’s decision to fully open the Strait of Hormuz and thanked the Tehran government.

President Trump confirmed that Iran has officially announced the restoration of this most important sea passage for commercial traffic.

It should be noted that today, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi announced that since the ceasefire in Lebanon, the Strait of Hormuz will remain fully open for all commercial ships for the remainder of the ceasefire period; however, all ships will have to follow the coordinated route determined by the Iranian Ports and Maritime Organisation.
