Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has announced to organize a big power show in the province on the instructions of PTI founder Imran Khan on April 19.
According to the Chief Minister, a “grand” rally will be held at the Railway Ground in Mardan, which will be a full demonstration of the PTI’s political power. Talking to the media, Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said that Imran Khan has issued special instructions to him to intensify political activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and hold a rally within the next 10 days.
He said, “This rally to be held at the Railway Ground in Mardan at 3:00 pm on April 19 will prove that despite being in jail, Imran Khan is still the most popular leader of Pakistan and the nation stands with him.”
The Chief Minister termed the imprisonment of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi as “unjust” and said that the PTI leadership has been continuously oppressed and abused for the past several years, but despite all the atrocities, the party has emerged as the biggest political force in Pakistan. He criticized the opponents, especially the elements active on digital platforms, and said that “touts” are spreading negative propaganda to thwart the rally, but the people will thwart their conspiracies.
Sohail Afridi, while inviting all Pakistanis, especially the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, to participate in the rally on April 19, said that this rally will give a clear message to the world that the roots of the PTI are very deep among the people. He further said that in the absence of Imran Khan, this rally will prove to be a milestone in taking forward their ideology and struggle.
