The lack of an agreement between the US and Iran is not a failure of the negotiation process; Pakistan will remain active to reduce tensions between Tehran and Washington.
According to the Arab channel Al-Mayadeen, the failure to reach an agreement is not a sign that the negotiation process has completely failed.
The report says that there are possibilities for continuing diplomatic talks, and more opportunities are available to reduce differences between the parties.
Pakistan will continue its diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions between Tehran and Washington. In this regard, efforts will be made to bring the two countries to the negotiating table, increase diplomatic relations and persuade them to reduce differences.
According to experts, this role of Pakistan could prove to be an important breakthrough in terms of stability in the region.
It should be noted that in his statement released on the social media platform X, the Iranian speaker said that Tehran participated in the negotiations with good intentions; however, the attitude of the opposing side remained unsatisfactory.
According to him, Iran presented comprehensive proposals based on the future, but Washington failed in the confidence-building process, due to which only limited progress was made in the negotiations.
Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said that the deep lack of trust between the parties still hinders any major progress. He said that now it will be up to the US to decide whether it takes practical steps to restore Iran’s trust or not.
The Iranian speaker thanked Pakistan for its hosting and facilitation, calling it a “friendly and brotherly country,” while also appreciating the support of 90 million Iranian people and the Supreme Leader.
