Transport fared reduced significantly as the government has announced to reduce the price of kerosene and light diesel in the country.
According to the notification, the price of kerosene has been reduced by Rs 17.33 per liter, after which the new price has been fixed at Rs 450.15 per liter.
Similarly, the price of light diesel oil has also been reduced by Rs 25.31 per liter, the new price has been fixed at Rs 369.72 per liter.
On the other hand, goods transporters have reduced their fares by 40 percent. President of the Goods Transport Association Nabil Mahmood says that the reduction in diesel prices is a welcome decision, both transporters and the public will get relief.
It may be recalled that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his address to the nation, announced a reduction in the price of diesel by Rs 135 and the price of petrol by Rs 12 per liter, after which a wave of happiness has spread among the people. The Prime Minister said that the new price of diesel will be Rs 385 and the new price of petrol will be Rs 366.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had said that there is no longer war in the Gulf, but talks of peace are being held. The parties that were face to face in the war yesterday are ready for talks today. I thank the brotherly country of Iran and the American leadership for this progress.
