Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on ‘X’ said that Pakistan has decided to grant visas on arrival to all foreign delegates, journalists, and related persons coming to participate in the Islamabad talks 2026.

Under this facility, airlines have been directed to allow all such persons to board without a visa, while Pakistani immigration authorities will issue visas on arrival at airports.

A statement issued on social media by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan welcomes all foreign delegations and journalists coming for the Islamabad Talks 2026. According to the statement, the concerned airlines have been directed to allow boarding without visas to all such passengers who are traveling to this conference.

An urgent official letter issued by the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control on April 10, 2026, has also come to light in support of this decision. The letter clarified that a visa on arrival will be provided to all those coming for the Islamabad Talks 2026, and special facilitation desks have also been set up at the airports for this purpose.

According to the official letter, airlines have been ordered to allow the concerned passengers to travel without a prior visa, while immigration authorities will issue visas on their arrival. The letter has also been sent to all relevant institutions, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, the FIA, and the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority, to ensure implementation.

This measure is aimed at facilitating and facilitating foreign participants and media representatives during the Islamabad Talks 2026.
