MALAKAND (Hamd Nawaz): Two TikTokers (Social Media Influencers), including their mother, were reportedly shot dead by the girl’s uncle over an honour-related issue in the Dargai area of district Malakand on Sunday night.
A tragic shooting incident occurred in the Qaldara Adda area of Tehsil Dargai, Malakand, resulting in the deaths of three women on the spot. The victims—50-year-old Swahirat, 28-year-old Samra, and 16-year-old Sawina—are reported to be from the same family, specifically a mother and her two daughters. This event has caused significant panic in the area.
The girls were used to make videos for TikTok and had become famous among the Pakhtun community with a huge audience.
According to a spokesperson for Rescue Malakand, medical teams from Rescue 1122 arrived swiftly at the scene, bringing two ambulances to transport the bodies to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Dargai. Investigations are underway by relevant agencies to determine the nature and cause of the incident, while security measures in the area have been heightened.
