ISLAMABAD: Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, daughter of the late former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and President Asif Ali Zardari, recently defended her father’s financial integrity on her social media platform X (formerly Twitter), saying my father has no bank account abroad; all his assets are in Pakistan.
She emphasized that he does not have a bank account abroad and highlighted that her father is one of the few global leaders whose entire wealth and assets are proudly invested in Pakistan.
Bakhtawar stated, My father does not even have a bank account abroad. He is one of the very few leaders in the world whose entire assets and wealth are proudly invested in his homeland.

Her comments come in response to ongoing discussions about the financial transparency of political leaders. Bakhtawar underscored the importance of investing in the country’s economy, noting that despite widespread criticism and allegations, Asif Ali Zardari has remained committed to Pakistan and has always prioritized the nation’s economic well-being.
