BANNU: Five persons killed 18 others injured, when unknown miscreants rammed his explosive loaded vehicle with Domail police station on midnight of Friday.
The security situation in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has once again become alarming, where a suicide attack was carried out on Domail police station using a vehicle loaded with explosives.
According to police, a suicide bomber rammed a vehicle loaded with explosives into the main gate of the police station in Domail area of Bannu, resulting in a powerful explosion. The explosion killed 5 people and injured 18.
According to Regional Police Officer Sajjad Khan, the explosion not only damaged the police station but also affected nearby residential houses. The dead included 3 women, a man and a child, while the injured were immediately shifted to the hospital.
Authorities said the nature and method of the attack indicate that the operation was carried out under a well-planned plan, in which terrorist networks may be involved. Security agencies have cordoned off the area and launched an investigation.
