DUBAI: Saim Ayub, Pakistan’s left-handed batter, has been attributed an unwanted world record in T20 International cricket, after another duck in the Asia Cup clash against Bangladesh.

Batsman Saim Ayub returned to the pavilion for duck scoring, which has made an unfortunate score of four in the tournament and six in total for the whole year.

By doing so, Saim has tied with Richard Ngarava of Zimbabwe, who has six ducks for the year 2024 as well, for the most ducks in T20 international cricket in a year.

Repeated instances of scoring below par has left him exposed to the community, and many commentators suggesting he need to step up before most a most important matches of the year.
