A fierce exchange of gunfire and artillery took place between security forces and the Afghan Taliban in the Kharlachi area along the Pak-Afghan border. As a result, a key Afghan Taliban commander, Nusratullah, also known as Kochi, was killed.
According to sources, this clash occurred on March 3, 2026, with both sides using heavy weapons due to a border dispute or provocation. The strong retaliation from the Pakistani security forces, including artillery fire, reportedly led to the death of Nusratullah Kochi, the Taliban commander.
