BAJAUR (Abbas Khan): Armed men opened indiscriminate fire on a police Ababeel squad in the Nave Kali area of Khar tehsil in Bajaur, resulting in the martyrdom of four police personnel and injuring two others.
According to police sources, the Ababeel squad was on a routine patrol during Ramadan when they came under attack. The fallen officers have been identified as Yarzada, Dawood, Imran, and Siraj. The injured personnel were quickly transported to DHQ Hospital Khar for treatment.
Following the incident, a large contingent of police cordoned off the area and initiated a search operation to locate the assailants.
