PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has requested the schedule of meetings for the Provincial Selection Board and the lists of officers retiring in 2026. In this regard, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Establishment Department has issued a letter to the Senior Member of the Board of Revenue, the Additional Chief Secretary for Home and Tribal Affairs, and all administrative secretaries.

According to the letter from the Establishment Department, it has been decided that the meetings for PSB-1 and PSB-2 will now be held six times a year instead of four. These meetings will take place in February, April, June, August, October, and December, with PSB-II meetings scheduled to occur after PSB-I meetings.

The letter instructs all administrative departments to promptly provide complete lists of officers managed by them who are set to retire in 2026 and beyond. This information is necessary for submission to the competent authority for timely consideration.

Furthermore, the letter clarified that cases of officers who will retire in 2026 and are in the development zone should be processed on a priority basis to ensure timely decisions and to avoid unnecessary court proceedings. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Establishment Department has directed all departments to complete and submit the working papers and other necessary documents related to the meetings promptly.
