LAHORE: Security sources have clarified that the war against terrorism is not just a war of the security forces, army, police or FC but of the entire nation, and to completely eradicate this curse, it is imperative to implement the National Action Plan in its spirit.

While talking to media representatives in Lahore, security sources revealed that India is behind all the sponsored terrorism in Pakistan, which has been named “Fitna-ul-Hindustan”. Regarding the recent Tarlai Imambargah attack, it was said that the attacker had received training in Afghanistan.

Sources said that Fitna-ul-Hindustan is actually the enemy of the Baloch people and the development of Balochistan; however, the people there have now recognised those who commit terrorism under the guise of a sense of deprivation.

Talking about smuggling, it was said that three years ago, 15 to 20 million litres of Iranian petrol and diesel were smuggled daily, the money of which was used in terrorism; however, this smuggling has now ended.

Security sources stressed that the only way to eradicate terrorism is “good governance”. Similarly, the national action plan is a key to controlling terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the recent meetings in the province were a positive move.

Security sources, while talking about the relationship between politics and the army, said that the army has nothing to do with politics, and it is the prerogative of all political parties to talk. However, the recent statement made by the opposition leader on the Pakistan Army was described as extremely regrettable and based on lies. They clarified that all decisions in legal and court cases should be made by the courts in accordance with the constitution and law.

The meeting reiterated the resolve that no narrative can weaken the relationship between the army and the people because our only narrative is “Pakistan”. The young generation stands with the Pakistan Army like a leaden wall, and just as India was defeated by uniting in the “Battle of Truth”, similarly, the enemy will still be defeated by transcending the divisions of nationality, language and provincialism.
