Following the directives of Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police announces promotion of 58 clerics to Assistant.
On the special instructions of Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed, 58 senior clerks serving in the police department have been promoted to the post of Assistant, and notification number CPO/E-5/Promotion/1524 dated December 18, 2025, has also been issued for the promoted employees.
The issue of promotion of these employees was pending for a long time, for which the IGP gave special instructions to Additional IG Headquarters Abbas Ahsan, as this demand was being made by the employees for a long time. The Additional IG Headquarters handled this long-standing issue well within a few weeks and made the promotion of 58 personnel possible.
IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed termed the resolution of this long-standing issue as an important milestone for the welfare of the employees and increasing their professional morale.
IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that all the employees of the police department, whether in uniform or not, are the backbone of the institution, and the resolution of their legitimate issues is among his top priorities. He clarified that the welfare of the employees, development opportunities, and protection of professional dignity and respect are the guarantee of a strong and effective police force.
The IGP further said that promotions and other matters are being ensured in the police department under the principles of merit, transparency, and justice, and such steps related to promotion for police welfare will continue in the future as well.
This decision has also sent a message to other employees working in the department that their hard work and services are being appreciated, and the leadership is serious about solving their problems.
He congratulated the families of the promoted employees and said that all this is undoubtedly the result of the hard work, interest, and prayers of these promoted officials and the prayers of their families.
The promoted employees thanked the IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the top police leadership and termed this initiative as auspicious and encouraging, and expressed hope that more such initiatives will be taken under the police welfare in the future.
