KURRAM: Security forces have killed 22 Khawarij terrorists during Intelligence-based operations in various areas of Central Kurram on Wednesday.
The operation was carried out in Mirzai and Manato areas of Kurram, where 22 Khawarij were killed while several others were injured. These operations were carried out on the basis of intelligence-based information.
As soon as the information was received, the forces carried out a very effective, targeted, and timely operation, as a result of which 22 Khawarij were killed. They were hiding in a house owned by their handler, Abadi. No losses of civilians were reported during the operation.
The Khawarij had also planted explosives in the same house, which resulted in injuries to several personnel of the security forces while damaging the house.
