PESHAWAR: Authorities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have imposed a 48-hour curfew in three districts, including Tank, Upper South Waziristan, and Lower South Waziristan, due to the deteriorating security situation. The time of the curfew will be from 6:00 AM on November 6 to 6:00 AM on November 8, 2025.
The district administrations in each of these districts have issued individual notifications regarding the imposition of the curfew. During the time of the ban on public movement, there will be a complete prohibition of movement, and the markets, commercial centers, and public transport service will remain closed.
The sub-division of Jandola Bazaar, in Tank, will be closed entirely. Movement has also been limited on a number of key highways such as Koṛ Qila to Khargai, Jandola, and Koṛ Qila to Girdavi.
A number of significant roads will be closed entirely to all types of people and vehicles in Upper South Waziristan. Among them are Sararogha to Kotkai, Spinakai Raghzai to Nazar Khail, Dargai Bridge to Madi Jan, Shin Warsak to Mula Khan Sarai to Chagmalai, and Sarwekai to Mula Khan Sarai to Barwand.
On the other hand, in Lower South Waziristan, no one will be allowed to enter the markets and commercial areas as they will remain closed and the residents will be advised strictly against the unnecessary travel. Closed routes include Wana Tairza Gate to Karb Kot, Tanai, Azizabad Chowk to Dargai Bridge, and Shakai to Anzar Chena Wana.
Only in case of an emergency, and after receiving the authorization from the police or security forces, a person can be allowed to travel when they submit their identification documents. The citizens are also told to drive their cars away from the road when the security vehicles come through.

The authorities have requested the people to cooperate with the security personnel, refrain from unnecessary movements, and abide by all the directives issued in order to keep the law and order intact.
