South Africa won the toss and decided to choose batting as three-match ODI series between Pakistan and South Africa has reached its decisive stage.
Both teams have won one match each, the third and final match of the series will be played on Saturday at the historic Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
In the first match, Pakistan defeated South Africa by two wickets after a thrilling contest, while in the second match, South Africa defeated Pakistan by eight wickets to level the series.
Pakistan has played 18 One-Day International matches at the Iqbal Stadium so far, of which they won 14 while losing 4. The South African team has played 7 matches here, of which they won 3 and lost 4.
In the final match to be played today, both teams will take the field to become the winner of the series. Cricket fans and experts say that the form, strategy and performance of the teams will play a key role in determining the winner.
Pacer Haris Rauf will be available for selection after his two-match ban by the ICC ends, which could further increase Pakistan’s chances of victory.
