In response to the recent attacks on Iran by the United States and Israel, a total of 184 flights from Pakistan to various destinations in the Middle East have been canceled today due to escalating tensions in the region.
Among the affected flights, 28 were scheduled to depart from Karachi to Dubai, Doha, Bahrain, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Baghdad. Additionally, 22 flights from Multan to Doha, Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Muscat have been canceled. Faisalabad has experienced the cancellation of 10 flights to Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi, while 12 flights from Sialkot to various Gulf countries have also been suspended.
Furthermore, 40 flights from Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore to Dubai, Sharjah, and Doha have been canceled. Islamabad saw the cancellation of 28 flights to Sharjah, Dubai, Doha, and Abu Dhabi, while 16 flights from Peshawar to Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai, Jeddah, and Sharjah were similarly impacted.
Due to these widespread cancellations, travelers are advised to check their flight status with their respective airlines and make any necessary arrangements, as disruptions are expected to continue due to the ongoing political and security situation in the region.
