QUETTA: At least 15 militants of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) were killed in an operation carried out by security forces in the Noshki district, officials said on Sunday.
According to security sources, the operation was conducted following intelligence reports about the presence of militants in the area. During the exchange of fire, 15 BLA members were neutralised.
Security officials said video footage of the operation had been released as evidence. They added that the militants were involved in recent attacks in different parts of Balochistan.
Authorities described the operation as a significant blow to the outlawed group, stating that security forces would continue intelligence-based operations to eliminate terrorist threats and maintain law and order in the province.
