Immediately after the accident, police and rescue teams reached the spot, and the injured were immediately shifted to the hospital.
A state of panic has spread in the area after the cylinder explosion near the G-11 court in Islamabad. Police and rescue teams reached the spot after the blast and started rescue operations. The number of injured is likely to increase as a large number of lawyers and civil servants were present in the main gate of the courtroom at the time. Security in the area has been beefed up immediately after the blast, and the police have started an investigation.
An emergency has been imposed in the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), and doctors’ leaves have been cancelled, while those who were on call have been called in for surgeries of the victims.
It may be recalled here that a few days ago, a blast occurred in the Supreme Court canteen in which 12 people were injured. The two blasts have caused panic among the public. Further investigations are being conducted to uncover the truth about the blast and determine whether these explosions were the result of a specific attack or accident.
On the other hand Indian media is crying by getting a false flag in Delhi and through its proxies, Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij, first targeted Wana Cadet College and today, a terrorist attack was carried out in Islamabad.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said during a media briefing that a suicide attack took place today at 12:39 pm, resulting in 12 people being martyred and 27 being injured. He said that the Prime Minister directed immediate treatment of the injured.
The suicide attack was planned to go inside the court; however police thwarted the major attack. He said that this would be their priority to identify the suicide bomber. Yesterday in Wana, too, a vehicle-borne suicide bomber exploded at the entry point.
Afghanistan is involved in the Wana attack, as terrorists were in contact with each other from Afghanistan. The characters involved in the court attack will also be brought to justice very soon. There is no choice but to stop the evil elements of Afghanistan and counter their attacks.
Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said in his tweet, “We are in a state of war. One should understand that the Pakistan Army is fighting this war in the Afghan-Pakistan border area and in the remote areas of Balochistan. So today’s suicide attack in the Islamabad District Court is a wake-up call that this is the war of the whole of Pakistan, in which the Pakistan Army is making sacrifices every day and is giving the people a sense of security”.
“In this environment, it would be futile to hope for more than successful negotiations with the Kabul rulers. The Kabul rulers can stop terrorism in Pakistan, but bringing this war to Islamabad is a message from Kabul, which Pakistan, thank God, has the strength to respond fully,” he said in his tweet.
