Commander 12 Corps, along with GOC 33 Division, visited Basima City in Balochistan on Monday and engaged with local stakeholders, including traders, teachers, notables, and youth.

According to a statement issued on Monday, during the visit, the commander highlighted ongoing development projects in coordination with the civil administration aimed at improving facilities and quality of life for the local population. He assured the community that the Army was committed to fostering peace and prosperity in the area.

The commander also addressed negative propaganda allegedly sponsored by Indian-backed terrorist elements, stating that such attempts were designed to sabotage local initiatives and destabilise the region.

Residents expressed gratitude for the Army’s outreach, describing the visit as a positive step toward confidence-building, mutual trust, and addressing local concerns.

Officials said the commander listened to the problems raised by locals and gave directions for their immediate resolution, emphasising the joint efforts of security forces and local administration to counter threats and promote development.
